- BS/MS in bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, or molecular biology
- 2 years of post graduate experience in bioinformatics data analsysis and software/algorithm development
- Linux profiency and fluency in at least one computer language (such as Perl or Python).
- Experience with R a plus (but not a must).
