Job responsibilities include but not restricted to:
- Data analysis of high-throughput dataDevelop pipeline and tools for data analysis of NGS platforms
- Contributes towards supporting and improving existing bioinformatics tools
Desired experience and expertise:
Technical Skill Requirements:- Master/PhD in computational Biology/Computer Science/Bioinformatics/Genomics/ Applied Statistics
- Knowledge of genomics and basics of molecular biology
- Knowledge in processing and analyzing Next-Generation seqencing (Exome, Gene Panels, Whole Genome, RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, Small-RNA-seq)
- Atleast 3 years experience in NextGeneration Data analysis
- Good knowledge of programming languages for data analysis and tool development such as Perl, Php, Python, R, Java, Html, SQL
- Knowledge in statistical analysis and bioinformatics methodsYou will also be expected to have
- Excellent communication, written and presentation skills"Roll-up-your-sleeves" entrepreneurial, start-up attitudeThe ability to work across teams and functions effectively
