Job Description:
We are a team of chromatin biologists looking for a computational biologist who loves NGS data! Our lab generates a number of NGS data types (e.g., ChIP-seq, RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, HiChIP, and more). We also mine existing genomic databases (e.g., TCGA, cbioportal) to generate novel hypotheses with direct relevance to human health. This position will take ownership of our bioinformatics pipelines and workflows, working closely with a team of computational biologists and wet lab scientists to increase team capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of state-of-the-art NGS methods, the ability to understand and explain different pipelines, and the capacity to guide our analysis based on our experimental observations.
