Job Description:
Edinburgh Genomics is seeking an experienced bioinformatician, with a strong track record of processing and analysing high-throughput genomics data, to join our talented team. Based at the King’s Buildings facility, you will responsible for processing and analysing data from customer projects across a wide range of technologies and applications from whole-genome variant discovery through RNA-seq gene expression analysis to metagenomics and epigenetics. With previous experience in analysing next-generation sequencing data, you will enjoy the challenges of working in a busy, fast-paced and technology leading environment. A PhD and/or equivalent experience in informatics, bioinformatics or computing applied to biological sciences and experience in programming are essential. Experience of bioinformatics support in a service delivery role will be considered an asset.
