Your Role:

During your internship in Bioinformatics you will work with a database for automated annotation of genes. We use this database to develop alternative immunotherapiesOne major area of responsibilities is the collection of expression profiles for cell type specific surface markers by literature research and analysis of various data sourcesYou will gain experience in programming of query pipelines, apply and optimize analysis pipelines and will validate the outcomeYou will work closely together with your colleagues in Bioinformatics and other departments of Miltenyi Biotec

Your Profile:

• Currently, you are a graduate student approaching the MSc. degree in Bioinformatics or Biology with a major in bioinformaticsYou want to gain experience during three months as intern in our company
• You are proficient in programming R; experience with Linux shell scripting and noSQL databases are advantageousYou would like to further strengthen your sound background in immunology
• You apply your scientific knowhow to solve problems in a goal oriented and creative manner
• Fluency in German and English would help you to communicate with your colleagues
