Job Description:
Join our cutting edge computational and quantitative research group focused on the identification of genes predisposing to complex diseases. Dr. Montgomery is seeking a Post-doctoral Fellow, Assistant-/ Associate-/Staff Scientist, Biostatistician or Bioinformatics Scientist to assist with ongoing projects including the development of new statistical and computational tools. The successful candidate will design, conduct and lead or oversee a variety of analyses and will evaluate methods to obtain data to ensure their validity, accuracy, reliability and usability. Results of analyses will be conveyed to colleagues via presentations and manuscripts. We have access to a high throughput molecular laboratory and a strong array of analytical computing resources.

Applied analysis experience essential. Superb computer (UNIX OS and R or similar statistical package) and communication skills required. Must have very efficient project management skills and strong organizational ability. Must have the ability to multi-task and work independently as well as with a team. Must be detail oriented, dependable, flexible, and willing to assist with manuscript and grant preparations.
