Job Description:
The Department of Radiation Oncology at the Washington University School of Medicine has an immediate opening for a post-doctoral research associate in bioinformatics. The researcher will work on microRNA studies by combining computational modeling with high-throughput experimental data. MicroRNAs are non-coding small RNAs that are extensively involved in many biological processes. We are combining computational data modeling, high-throughput biology such as RNA-seq, as well as standard molecular biology techniques to characterize the functions of microRNAs and other non-coding RNAs. More information about the lab can be found at http://rnalab.wustl.edu.
