Job Description:
This individual will play key roles in our bioinformatics tool/platform development to support R&D, marketing and company business. Work independently and collaboratively with members of bioinformatics, R&D and marketing to develop bioinformatics tools/pipelines/platforms; Data analysis on high-dimensional data sets from a wide range of sources to provide solutions to research and business; Develop new computational methods and algorithms to support new product and technology development related to genomics. Who You Are
- A Ph.D in bioinformatics, computational biology or related area.
- Strong background in sequence analysis, NGS, pathway/network and other areas of genomics/bioinformatics.
- Proficiency in at least one high performance language (eg c++, java) and one script language (eg perl or python).
- Strong background in statistics modeling and analysis. Proficiency in programming in R.
- Good Knowledge in database development.
