Strong candidates must have a PhD in the area of computational biology. Experience with RNA methylation or editing, cancer research, chromatin epigenetics, and post-transcriptional regulation of RNA expression is strongly preferred. Research may entail combining cutting-edge bioinformatics technologies to make biomedical discovery using next generation sequencing data or developing bioinformatics algorithm and statistical method.
