Job Description:
The Bioinformatics Specialist is part of the Creative Data Solutions team in Stem Cell Biology at Vanderbilt University and is a key individual contributor responsible for working in a variety of genomics projects and be responsible for the operation of workflows and pipelines related to high-throughput genomics, including but not limited to RNA-Seq, ChIP-Seq and single cell RNA-Seq. This position reports to the Director of Creative Data Solutions (CDS), which is a fee-for-service facility that offers out-of-the- box and custom solutions to complex problems faced by life scientists.
