Job Description:
We are seeking an exceptionally talented computational biologist/bioinformatics scientist to join the Exploratory Immuno-Oncology (IO) group in NIBR to help develop and deliver cutting-edge cancer therapies to benefit patients. This scientist plays a key role in facilitating collaborations between IO investigators and NIBR bioinformatics groups and provides computational/bioinformatics expertise to the department. This position will focus on a wide range of applications from curation/preparation to analysis of sequencing data (ATAC-seq, ChIP-seq, RNA-seq, CRISPR screening), exploratory biomarker discovery in support of autologous cell immunotherapy, complex transcriptional and epigenetic profiling, and target identification and drug discovery.
Additional Info:
The successful candidate will work closely with IO biologists to provide computational/bioinformatics systems to support the drug discovery process in preclinical exploratory studies as well as translational research efforts connecting genomics, epigenomics and proteomics data. The ideal candidate should be a creative, effective collaborator and a highly-motivated team player with a strong understanding of omics data, as well as strong experience in computational biology and building effective data mining tools for IO scientists.[Click Here to Access the Original Job Post]
