Job Description:
Responsible for providing computational expertise to research program that focuses on the storage, analysis, and distribution of digital (e.g. images, array files, proteomic spectra) genomic and biological data. Position involves data management: developing, maintaining, and supporting associated genomic software and databases; includes leading data mining, bioinformatic analysis and data integration procedures. Responsible also for assisting scientific staff by providing guidance and training in using bioinformatics in their research. Prepares drafts and manuscripts to include abstracts and poster presentations. Basic Qualifications: Education - Bachelor's Degree in biology, bioinformatics, mathematics, statistics, computer science or other relevant scientific discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred Qualifications:
