Job Description:
The Executive Director for Yale Center for Biomedical Data Science will be responsible for the daily collaborative, education, and outreach operations of the center and will be appointed in the Research Scientist track of the Yale School of Medicine. He/she will be the ambassador of the center and have responsibilities that include identifying research opportunities and education needs of the Yale biomedical and biological researchers; assisting in setting the priorities for the Center and facilitating faculty searches in this field; and preparing reports and giving presentations for center-related activities. Qualifications: The successful candidate should have a PhD degree in biomedical informatics, computational biology, bioinformatics, or related field, working or postdoctoral experience, excellent communication and writing skills, collaborative experiences with biomedical and biological researchers, and strong organizational and management skills.
