Job Description:
When you join this team, your goals will be to develop software in collaboration with application teams and external collaborators. You will help maintain our engineering-oriented resources (e.g. continuous integration and source code control) and encouraging their use by our various communities. Qualifications: -Be familiar with several programming languages such as: Java, Python, R, C++ and be comfortable coding from scratch -Be an experienced software developer in Unix-like environments -Comfortable working with modern version control systems, continuous integration systems and issue tracking systems. Preferred: -Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, bioinformatics. -Strong experience with C++, Java . -Strong understanding of biotech culture. -Possess organizational agility, the ability to develop working relationships within a large organization that cross organizational boundaries and promote efficient solutions to problems. -Previous experience with large-scale NGS data analysis.
