Job Description:
The Department of Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine has an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Associate. This position will focus on bioinformatics to include data analytics and software tools development for bioinformatics. Duties may include, but not limited to, working and collaborating on studies; ensuring the design, development, execution, and implementation of scientific research and/or development in collaboration with a research team; investigating the feasibility of applying a wide variety of scientific principles and theories to potential inventions and products; maintaining substantial knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories; and contributing to scientific literature and conferences when appropriate.

The minimum qualifications for this position are as follows: doctoral degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology or a closely related field of study. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to pay close attention to detail, ensuring strict accuracy in work.
