You are part of the R&D IT, Data Services and Business Intelligence team and working on an Operational Data Warehouse project. You will be busy with the integration of data from many source systems and entities. Technical environment: 3NF warehouse modeling, SQL, Windows OS + MS Office, Erwin, database tools like Toad, Squirrel Your day to day activities will be the following:
- analyzing source data, writing functional models of the source data
- collaboration with other analysis and modelers, with source systems experts, the ware house and data mart development team
- creating a functional model of the data warehouse based on a conceptual model from our business customer
- creating a functional model of the data marts based on dashboard/reporting/analysis requirements from our business customer
- specifying the transformation of the functional source models to the functional warehouse model
- specifying the transformation of the functional warehouse model to the functional data mart model
- Master/Bachelor in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry or Bioinformatics
- Min 5 years of experience in analysis and design of data warehouse solutions
- Strong analytic mindset
- Capable of performing to the bone analysis in a short time
- Strong communication skills in English. Dutch is a plus!
- Capable to write precise and complete specifications
- Client and result oriented
- Excellent Customer service, interpersonal and team collaboration skills
- Able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and with limited supervision
- Quick learner - able to follow change management procedures and other internal guidelines
- Flexibility
- Experience with a Master Data Management System is a plus
- Experience with a global work environment is a plus
