Senior Bioinformatics Engineer

Job Description:
We are a growing analytics company searching for a Senior Bioinformatics Engineer.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Develop analysis pipeline for new market-disrupting product
• Enhance and maintain robust and automated pipelines analyzing NGS data
• Work closely with science and product teams to define product enhancements and develop project plans
• Operate, monitor, and support production analysis pipeline runs

What You Need To Have:

• Experience developing algorithms processing high-throughput, next-generation sequencing
• Proven development experience with an object-oriented language, ideally Python
• Proficiency with SQL and UNIX shells
• Comfortable working in cloud environments, ideally AWS
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, bioinformatics, or related
