Job Description:
SoftGenetics, a world leader in Genetic Analysis software, has an opening for entry-level Junior Programmer to join our State College development team. A successful candidate will work with our team to add new features and improve our powerful suite of genetic analysis tools. This position will be involved in designing and updating our newest product, GMHTS. The software is written in C++ and uses the QT framework. Additionally, the programmer will be in charge of updating a Django server that manages projects from the client. Experience with Python and MySQL will be useful. Ideal candidates will have a Computer Science or Bioinformatics degree with firm knowledge/proficiency of Object Oriented Programming and C++. Bioinformatics knowledge is a plus and recent college graduates are welcome.
