Job Description:
As a Data Scientist your key responsibility is to figure out the drivers of campaign effectiveness. You are part of the Global Media Analytics team which sits within the Marketing Science department and is responsible for analyzing all online media (display and video) campaigns on performance. This involves creating uplift models on the log-level data we receive from our ad servers. Your impact in this role is significant as your research and models will be applied to optimize campaign performance, recommending budget allocation decisions and increase campaign execution velocity on a global scale. You can expect to be able to make a valuable contribution to the company’s bottom line. This is a role for a team player with a self-starting approach, you must have gravitas and the ability to get things done, being conscious of having to make tradeoffs between developing the most accurate model and staying pragmatic. You should enjoy taking ownership of your work and getting your hands dirty. You will also need to have excellent communication skills, business acumen and the ability to translate your findings into the business language of your stakeholders. - Uplift modeling on large, complex datasets to identify drivers and barriers of performance
- Translating your findings into pragmatic and actionable solutions
- Ability to see beyond the numbers, to interpret your findings and communicate them effectively to your stakeholders
- Enjoy engaging with your peers to ensure implementation of your models and recommendations
- Proactively suggest and implement clever ways to improve our workflows
- Provide consultation to your internal stakeholders on statistical methods and techniques
- 3-5 years of experience in a data science/ analytics function in a global organization
- Masters, PhD, or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (computer science, econometrics, physics, mathematics, engineering, bioinformatics, etc.)
- Required skills include: strong statistics background, good algorithm programming skills, good data visualization skills, basic machine learning skills
- Experience with experimental methodologies and analyzing experimentation data
- Experience with applying Data Science to commercial problems and ability to prioritize according to business impact
- Strong working knowledge of Python, Hadoop, Spark, SQL, and/or R.
- Excellent communication skills; the ability to convey complex analysis results clearly and with conviction to all levels of stakeholders
- Professional experience with marketing data is a big plus
Requeriments :
- M.Sc. or higher Degree in Bioinformatics
- M.Sc. or higher Degree in Computer Science
- Master's Degree in Engineering
