Job Description:
Analyzing research and specimen data for multiple genetic studies and biorepositories. Transform data from different sources to a common format needed for existing database systems for data migrations. Create queries or design other methods to ensure data validity, both internal and external to the database system. Design and program scripts, perform tests, and prepare documentation of study databases. Perform analysis and programming tasks in a data processing environment. Build project dashboards and web applications to meet specific project requirements using R and the Shiny R-package. Required Qualifications: REQUIRED : Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science or a related field, plus at least 3 years of scientific/bioinformatics related experience required. Required knowledge, skills, and abilities: SQL experience and basic knowledge of relational databases. To be successful candidate should have strong organizational, communication and documentation skills. Should have the ability to maintain calm and composure in light of a multitude of tasks and deadlines. Preferred Qualifications:
