Job Description:
The Department of Neurological Surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine has an immediate opening for an outstanding applicant for a full-time post doctoral fellow position with experience and proficiency in cancer genomics and bioinformatics. The primary activity of this post-doctoral fellow will be to conduct basic/translational research in brain tumor immunology and immunotherapy using methylation, RNA seq and genome sequencing data.

To be considered, applicants are required to have a Ph.D. in cancer genomics/bioinformatics or in a closely related field and should have experience and proficiency in big data base analysis such as bisulfite sequencing, RNA/DNA sequencing and data mining from large cancer databases,. In addition basic molecular biology skills are required. The successful candidate should be motivated and have future plans of pursuing independent research career, must be able to perform self-directed work, and possess excellent collaborative/communication skills with demonstrated experience in successful manuscript writing and publications.
