Job Description:
The Wilhelmsen Lab is looking for postdoctoral candidates to analyze whole genome sequence data on 3500 subjects with addiction and behavioral phenotypes and exome data from hundreds of medical genetic patients. The successful applicant will scripting skills to use existing programs and programming skills to develop and implement new algorithms. Statistical genetics experience preferred. Postdocs should have a background in one or more of the following areas: genomics, computer science, scientific computing, or bioinformatics. Because much of the work in the lab is realized through software development, an interest in programming / software development is desired.
