We are seeking to fill positions for two postdoctoral researchers in the domain of Knowledge Mining at the Computational Bioscience Research Center at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology. The researchers will work in the Knowledge Mining Lab of Prof. Vladimir Bajic (https://www.kaust.edu.sa/en/study/faculty/vladimir-bajic). The group heavily works on biomedical data mining and has strong collaborations links. The postdoctoral researchers will work on the development and application of Artificial Intelligence methods in bioinformatics and computational biology, with a particular focus on machine and deep learning, and systems biology approaches. - A completed PhD and Master's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields), completed in the last 4 years under the eligibility requirements of the university
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Programming experience and experience in software development.
- Experience, demonstrated by a publication record, in one or more of the following areas:
- Machine Learning
- Data Mining
- Statistics
- Data Science
- Semantic Technologies and Ontologies
- Development of Novel Methods in Bioinformatics
- Biomedical Data Analytics
