Job Description:
The Genetics and Biochemistry Branch, NIDDK seeks postdoctoral candidates to develop novel algorithms and approaches for the analysis of large next-generation sequencing and other datasets to study the fundamental processes underlying chromosome dynamics during meiosis and other biological processes. The successful candidate will be part of a computational biology team and in close collaboration with wet-lab experimentalists. Experience in R, Perl, Python, C, Java or other programming language is required along with a working knowledge of Linux / Unix systems. Some biology training is also desirable.
