Job Description:
Center for Genomic Medicine at Rigshospitalet is hiring a data engineer to join our bioinformatics group, who will develop and maintain the IT infrastructure necessary for the deployment of bioinformatic analyses. The position is a permanent position. As part of the bioinformatics group, you will be responsible to structure clinical data and apply tools for presentation of results to clinical departments. Accordingly, tasks will range from integrating bioinformatic tools to the automated data analysis workflows, to contributing to high level publications within the field of genomic medicine. We offer a stimulating environment where medical doctors, biologists and bioinformaticians work together to deliver high-quality precision medicine and research. We offer a unique opportunity to work with terrabytes of real clinical data, e.g. we sequence > 1,000 clinical human exomes per year. Desired Qualifications:
Additional Info:
Center for Genomic Medicine holds a combined high-throughput DNA sequencing and bioinformatics platform that provides a wide-range of genomic analyses, including human whole-genome sequencing, to hospitals in Region Hovedstaden and other parts of Denmark. The application should comprise the following in a single pdf file:
