Join a talented team of developers working to create the computational tools used in various aspects of biological research and development - from Bioinformatics to Systems Pharmacology. We are seeking a creative individual with expertise in mathematics, statistics and commercial software development. A successful candidate will be highly motivated and show initiative towards delivering world-class software solutions to our customers. You will help propose, plan, and develop statistical features for the Bioinformatics toolbox and in particular focus on the analysis and visualization of Next Generation Sequencing data. This includes the design, architecture, and development of functionality written in MATLAB, Java and C++. The ability to work constructively in a team environment is vital. You should have experience taking a project from concept to delivery, through a complete development cycle.

- M.S. degree in Math, Science or Engineering with emphasis in Statistics, Machine Learning, and simulation technology
- Excellent programming skills in Java or C++
- Excellent programming skills in MATLAB
- Experience writing commercial software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of the R programming language
- Knowledge of complete workflows used in the analysis of NGS and Microarray data
- Interest in GUIs and scientific visualization
- Experience with various computer platforms (Mac, UNIX, Windows)
- Knowledge of WinNonLin and NONMEM
- Background in statistics
- A bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 5 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree) is required.
