Bioinformatics Programmer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced bioinformatics programmer developing web-based tools supporting the research and development of in-vitro diagnostics and other life sciences products.​ This position requires knowledge about DNA/​RNA sequences, analysis methods and resources.​ Experience with current web technologies is a must, as well as software development best practice.​

Requirements:
M.​S.​ in bioinformatics, computer sciences or similar fields
At least 2 years of experience developing web-based applications with LINUX
Experience building web portal is required.​
Experience with PHP, Perl or Python is required, C/​C+​+​ a plus
Familiarity with public bioinformatics tools and resources: BLAST, NCBI, UCSC, COSMIC, Ensembl
Strong analytical skills
Knowledge about PCR technology and NGS data analysis is a plus
Work independently with minimum supervision
