Job Description:
We seek a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Molecular & Cellular Bioscience, to teach and support the molecular and biochemical provision of a range of bioscience courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You will have an enthusiastic approach to education and will support the existing delivery and help further develop the teaching of molecular and cellular science across our suite of courses.

You will have a PhD in a relevant discipline and expertise in one or more of the following areas: Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Genetics, Biotechnology and Bioinformatics. You will also have an emerging record in research, which complements our research in the areas of metabolic and associated chronic diseases. There are substantial facilities to support this research within the Department of Biosciences and beyond. On Clifton Campus, there is access to imaging suites, genomics and proteomics facilities, as well as numerous molecular biology technologies to support the highest quality research activity. There are also several researchers working in this area within the department to support coordinated projects.

You will work within our rapidly evolving Clifton Campus, a multi-award-winning site including a recently opened interdisciplinary science and technology building, with state of the art bioscience research and teaching labs. A medical technology innovation facility and a building for engineering are due for completion in 2019.
