The Research Analytics team is seeking a highly motivated, meticulous and detail-oriented individual for a rapidly growing multi-disciplinary team. The candidate should:
Be instrumental in quality control/testing and maintaining code base.
Be involved in developing pipelines and data analysis.
Should have solid programming and software development background.
Should be a quick learner, extremely flexible and able to adapt to needs of the team and work with a rapidly evolving code base
Desired Skills and Experience
Responsibilities:
Design and execute test plans on code libraries and analysis pipelines.
Meticulously document test plans and outcomes. Communicate findings internally to enable bug fixes.
Ensure compliance with established programming practices.
Development and execution of data analysis protocols to support company's discovery pipeline.
Statistical and bioinformatics analyses of high-throughput molecular and clinical data.
Present results/findings internally.
Requirements:
M.S. in Computer Science, Bioinformatics or related field, or a B.S. with programming and testing experience.
Proficiency in R, MySQL and Perl is highly preferred.
Ability to find creative solutions to technical problems is a must.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills combined with superior and proven track record of technical and organizational skills.
Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment and demonstrate attention to detail and record keeping.
