Job Description:
Plan, schedule, design and execute software and system validation and verification plan for life sciences software development projects. Coordinate project activities for iterations, testing and deployment with in-house and offshore team members. Guide and oversee validation & verification project activities, including planning and coordination of SDLC process using agile and scrum methodologies. Train team members on test methodologies used on a project. Verify and validate product requirements, specifications, and algorithm design. Apply formal best practices methodologies and notations to prepare test deliverables.
Minimum Qualifications (must have)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics or related field of study plus five years of experience in the position offered or as a Software Tester, Software Engineer, Module Lead or Computer Systems Analyst or related field. Employer also accepts a Master’s degree plus three years of experience as an equivalent alternative to a Bachelor’s degree plus five years of experience. Must have experience in: C, Java, VBA and HTML; establishing Automation framework design; scripting languages like Perl; Data-basing concepts; testing software utilizing a formalized Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach; test and defect management tool (Lab View, or TPLan, or HPQC, or DOORS, or Team Forge, or Perforce or SVN Continuous Integration).
