DESCRIPTION
This is a critical role within the Life Science Research Reagent R&D team. The successful candidate will demonstrate ability to follow protocol to execute scientific experiments, implement new techniques, make detailed observations, analyze data and interpret results as well as be responsible for developing a wide variety of scientific collateral to support and drive the successful commercialization of the product portfolio.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Design, perform, analyze, and troubleshoot multi-color flow cytometry experiments. · Responsible for implementation of a wide variety of molecular biology technologies including next generation sequencing (NGS) applications. · Technical writing and editing of white papers, protocols, applications, bulletins, and product brochures. · Oral presentations to internal and external audiences. · Develop a central repository for data and data annotation standards. · Manage external collaborations. · Support R&D and marketing for product development and launch requirements.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
· Requires experience designing, performing, and analyzing flow cytometry experiments, preferably on BD flow cytometers (LSRII, LSR Fortessa, X-20, Canto, Aria). · Strong understanding of immunology, with extensive knowledge of CAR T cell and dendritic cell biology a must. · Molecular experience including knowledge of RT-PCR, RNA Sequencing and bioinformatics or similar gene analysis experience. · Self-motivated with a strong work ethic. · Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. · Demonstrated analytical problem solving. · Developed organizational, time management, and planning skills to efficiently manage multiple projects.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Requires a PhD in molecular immunology or a related life science discipline with a minimum of 4-6 years of post-doctoral or industry experience preferred. · Minimum of 4-6 years of experience operating a flow cytometer.Requeriments :
