Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to contribute to publications and grant proposal writing
Interest in working within a heterogeneous environment and collaborating with scientists with a range of expertise in the life sciences

Post - Doctoral Research in BioinformaticsAberystwyth UniversityIBERS (Institute of Biological, Environmental and Rural Sciences)United Kingdom-Ceredigion-Aberystwyth We are looking to recruit a post doctoral research fellow in bioinformatics within the IBERS’ BBSRC-funded Crop Genetics, Genomics and Germplasm (C3G), and Energy Grass Biology (EGB) Institute Strategic Programme Grants (ISPGs). The successful candidate will undertake the analysis of multi ’omics datasets to understand the relationships between genotype, phenotype and environment with the view to identifying genes and pathways linked to desirable traits. The outputs of these projects will help in understanding key crop plant traits with a range of potential impacts in biotechnology and agriculture.
