The appointment will be on UCL Grade 6. The salary range will be £29,193 - £30,783 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
In 2010, The Centre for Behavioural Medicine within the Department of Practice and Policy was awarded a £2 million Programme Grant award from the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) for the development, evaluation and implementation of behavioural interventions to increase uptake of and adherence to antiretroviral therapy (ART) for HIV.
The UCL School of Pharmacy seeks a Research Assistant to work as part of the Supporting Uptake and Adherence to Antiretrovirals (SUPA) programme team.
The successful candidate will be involved in the recruitment and monitoring of study patients and the collection and documentation of accurate research data, all of which must be managed in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
The post is for one year in the first instance.
You will be organised and self-motivated with an MSc in a Clinical and/ or Health Psychology or relevant discipline and have experience in health services research. Previous experience of working on randomised controlled trials and/or other observational and interview-based studies in patient populations is essential.
