Assistant/Associate Professor, Tenure-Track Faculty Position
University at Buffalo- State University of New York

The Department of Ophthalmology (Ross Eye Institute) of the University at Buffalo-State University of New York is seeking a full-time, tenure-track vision scientist (PhD or MD/PhD) at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank, with research focus on retinal stem cell biology and/or regenerative medicine & gene therapy for retinal diseases. Medical licensure not required. Secondary appointments in basic science and other clinical departments are available. Outstanding salary & benefits, independent laboratory space, and generous startup packages, commensurate with rank, years of experience, scholarly productivity, and grant funding history (candidates with current grant funding or history of recent funding are preferred).
