Job Description:
Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow in computational biology for the lab of Molly Hammell. The successful applicant will play an integral role in a new project to look at the molecular determinants of breast cancer progression. The successful applicant will analyze whole genome sequencing and transcriptomic data from a large cohort of breast cancer patients with both early and invasive breast tumors. She/he will also be required to assist in optimizing the transcriptomic analysis pipelines for low input and single cell samples. Experience in cancer systems biology, integrative genomics analysis, and next generation sequencing data analysis is highly valuable for potential applicants.

Position Requirements
Applicants must hold a PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Statistical Genomics, Biostatistics, Biology, or closely related field with a strong focus on computational biology and previous experience with genomic sequence data analysis.
The accepted applicant should have strong written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in Linux and at least one programming language is required. Experience in any of the areas listed below is a plus:
One or more of: R, Python, Perl, Fortran, C.
Experimental Design. Experience with large patient sequencing data sets
