Psychology is the largest subject group in the School of Social, Psychological and Communication Sciences at Leeds Beckett University. As part of the School plans to expand the already successful Psychology portfolio, and in particular our consultancy, research, and knowledge transfer projects, we are looking for an inspiring, enthusiastic applied researcher to join our growing expertise in psychological approaches to safety and health. The colleague we are seeking should also be committed to providing a high quality experience for our students.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of experienced psychology staff in further developing our course provision and enhancing our collaborative research and enterprise activities in the area of human factors and safety. 

Candidates should have a PhD in a psychology-related subject area, a strong track record of applied research, the collation of successful bids, funding proposals, and/or consultancy projects, and evidence of, or clear plans for, attracting external research funding.
