Postdoctoral Researcher in Computational GenomicsU C San Diego92093-CA-La Jolla We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher in the field of computational genomics, focusing on complex structural variants that arise in cancer as well as hyper variable regions, and the mechanisms for complex variation formation. Candidates should have a strong computational background, with experience in combinatorial algorithms, machine learning and statistics. Knowledge of cancer genomics and population genetics is an added bonus. Our lab works on computational biology problems in collaboration with many researchers in Medicine and Biology at U C San Diego.
