Graduate Research Assistant Positions in Genomics and Computational Biology at Texas TechTexas Tech UniversityDept. of Environmental Toxicology and The Institute of Environmental and Human HealthUSA-Texas-Lubbock Graduate positions (PhD and MS) in the field of genomics and computational biology are available in the lab of Dr. Degeng Wang at The Institute of Environmental and Human Health, and will be part of the Environmental Toxicology Graduate Program at Texas Tech University. Information about this program can be found online at www.tiehh.ttu.edu. Positions will start as early as Spring 2016. Research topics are flexible, but would generally fall within current lab interests, including: biostatistical and computational analysis; biological data mining; next generation sequencing analysis; molecular and cellular toxicology with a focus on cellular signaling and gene expression regulation in response to environmental factors; molecular and cellular basis of cancers. The interdisciplinary environment will give a biology student the opportunities to learn and venture into statistical and computational analysis, and give a statistical/computational student the opportunities to become an expert in biology. Batchelor's degree from an accredited institution.
