The Department of Clinical Sciences are seeking applications for the post of Lecturer (Education) at Brunel University London. The successful applicant will be a Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered Social Worker with relevant Teaching and Learning expertise. You will need to be able to work within a team and communicate effectively with the ability to work flexibly and meet deadlines.
Your role will include facilitating teaching and learning for Social Work students, with particular interest in social policy for social work and mental health. You will also be required to support the Social Work students in practice working with partners to ensure the achievement of the Social Work standards. This may involve auditing and visiting students in placement.
You will be able to contribute to programme development and be involved in quality monitoring aspects of the provision.
Your role may involve participation in University events and collaboration with other professionals within the College of Health and Life Sciences (CHLS), particularly interprofessional learning opportunities in order to facilitate the on going delivery of the Social Work programme.
An essential requirement is for the successful applicant to satisfy the requirements of checks by the Disclosure & Barring Service.
