The Nuffield Department of Population Health (NDPH) contains world-renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary teaching and research.
We are looking for a part-time Teaching Fellow to assist with the development and teaching of the Epidemiology and Statistics modules of the MSc course and to act as Module Lead for the statistics module. You will be responsible for organising and running ‘consolidation’ sessions, setting, marking and providing feedback on assessments and tutoring and supporting students, especially those experiencing particular difficulties with the module.
In order to be considered for the post you will have a postgraduate degree (MSc or PhD) in statistics or epidemiology, experience teaching at graduate level and working as a statistician/epidemiologist. You will be proficient with statistical software, particularly Stata, and have experience managing large datasets. You will also need exceptional oral communication skills.
