Job Announcement Summary: Dow AgroSciences seeks an innovative Computational Biologist for genetic, genomic, proteomic, and phenotypic data analysis. The successful candidate will join the Data Analysis Department within R&D and will interface with scientists across Dow AgroSciences R&D. The candidate will use computational approaches spanning genetic, genomic, phenotype, and protein sequence data to drive hypothesis generation and enable automated computing systems. - Doctoral degree in computational biology or closely related field
- Demonstrated experience in multiple areas of the following data types: DNA, RNA, protein, pathway, and phenotype
- Demonstrated experience in working in a high-performance computing environment
- Demonstrated experience in computing software (MATLAB or similar), compiled programming languages (Java or similar) and database programming languages (e.g. SQL or similar)
