Job Description:
Bioinformatics startup is seeking an enthusiastic software developer with bachelor, Master's, or Ph.D. in computer science or a related discipline (or a student in these fields) for part-time software development as part of a novel software project. The candidate must have documented hands-on experience in Java and be able to demonstrate adherence to good coding standards. Basic Java EE (EJB, JPA, and JPQL) and database development skills are required. Previous exposure to development tools including Eclipse for Java SE/EE, MySQL, SVN would be preferable. JUnit testing experience would be a plus. Good communication and analytical skills are valued. Please provide emails/phone # of two references. Competitive compensation.
