A San Diego Biotech company is looking for a E-Catalog Associate. The position plays a central and key role within the company's growing marketing catalog and operations analytics needs. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining the company product catalog (over 100K products). This is a part-time and temporary position consisting of 30 hours per week.Success in this position depends on ability to multi-task, eye for detail and superior organization and time management. This individual takes ownership of the work requiring attention and is able to determine methods and procedures on new assignments. This position will be based in our Sorrento Valley location.The successful E-Catalog Associate is someone who can:
Work with the product manager to prioritize new products listingManage outsourcing teams for content assemblyUnderstand programming to help automate data manipulationComfortable with ETL tools such as Excel and other data manipulation toolsComfortable with open source database & writing SQL queriesCan write automation scripts to access and manipulate large datasetsQualifications:
Able to multitask and coordinate delivery of tasksBreakdown and manage difficult tasksStrong attention to detailAbility to multitask, prioritizes, and works well under tight deadlinesMust exhibit a high degree of professionalism and demonstrate confidenceSkillful at promoting ideas, great organizational, and interpersonal skillsExcellent oral and written communication skills to interface with all levels in the organization and customersCustomer focused individualProficient in Microsoft applications, i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, QuickBooksRequirements:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology, BioInformatics or Computer Science or equivalent desirable2+ years programming experience in scripting/automation languages (php, VBA)4+ years related to data roles2+ years in coordination rolesLocation: Full-time employment in Sorrento Valley (close to the 805) in San Diego About the Company We are a Biotech Company with a start-up feel with only 10 people in San Diego.
