The Advanced Analytics team is expanding. We are looking for a Data Scientist / Scientist to join the team. The Advanced Analytics team serves as the Center of Excellence for the Company and as such we are exposed to a wide variety of different projects ranging from Underwriting, Marketing Analytics, Fraud mitigation to Product development. We also value our research time to further explore topics we are interested in.

You would fit in great with this team if:
You are highly proficient in a language such as R, Python or SAS You have an advanced degree (MS or PhD) in a field such as Statistics, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, Applied Mathematics, Physics or another field which is highly analytical / quantitative You have experience working with real data and are not intimidated by the size of datasets nor by modeling rare events You are highly familiar with standard modern techniques such as different types of Regression, Boosting, Survival A nalysis, Random Forests, SVMs, Cluster Analytics, MC Simulation, … You have a positive attitude and believe Whatever I don’t know I can learn You enjoy being an active part of all aspects of an analytical project from idea generation, data collection, stratified sampling, feature engineering, variable selection, model development, performance evaluation and testing to implementation and beyond You recognize the importance of a well thought out experimental design You are enthusiastic about learning and using new Big Data tools You love being part of a larger analytics team, but appreciate your own space and independence as well You enjoy collaborating with business partners and realize that everyone brings something valuable to the table and due to our diverse skills, knowledge and experience we can build something fantastic
