Job Description:

We are seeking 1-2 postdoctoral fellows for laboratory research in the field of transplantation immunobiology, xenogeneic transplantation, tissue engineering, and nanomedicine.

A Ph.D. or M.D. degree with previous research experience in cellular or molecular immunology, bioengineering, bioinformatics, nanomedicine or related fields is the minimal requirement for application. Candidates with previous experiences in animal models of transplantation immunobiology, infection, autoimmunity, immune tolerance, biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, and tissue engineering are particularly encouraged to apply.

Successful candidates will have the choice of working on a variety of projects including but not limited to the following areas: 1. transplantation tolerance strategies and mechanisms; 2. translational protocol development for clinical transplantation tolerance; 3. tolerance-infection interface; 4. nanotechnology for local and systemic immune modulation; 5. bioengineering approaches for cellular immune tolerance therapies for autoimmunity and transplantation; 6. innate immunity in chronic kidney diseases.
