We are hiring a Product Manager who will be responsible for integrating third-party genomics, genetics, and molecular data into the Precision Medicine Platform from a variety of sources, applications, and services. For example, we integrates patients’ results from molecular testing laboratories in order to provide decision support to clinicians (e.g. therapy recommendations and clinical trials matches) and support clinical utility research.
As Product Manager, Genomics Integrations you will own the standard interfaces for sending data and receiving data from molecular testing laboratories as well as our Lab Certification Program, which is a standardized process to integrate multiple laboratories into the platform. You will design any new product features, program participation requirements for the laboratories, and processes needed to support this growing program. You will maintain and improve the data and API specifications as well as the integration methods and workflows. You will own the integration process with each of the laboratories and work with project management to ensure that the integrations are successful at the customer site. Leveraging your expertise in both product integrations and genomic knowledge, you will define the tools and processes that will enable us to operationalize, streamline, and scale across multiple integrations to support our growing customer base.
Following the same model as the Lab Certification program, you will also build out a new program to integrate external sources of clinical genomics knowledge into the platform, ranging from third party commercial services to public databases.In this role you will work cross-functionally across multiple teams. You will work with Engineering to define the platform requirements, with Customer Solutions to deploy integrations for specific customers, and with Business Development to build relationships with partner organizations.
Required skills and experience :
5+ years of software product management experience.Experience integrating 3rd party data and applications.Experience creating data and API specifications for 3rd party integrations.Experience with genomic annotation, variant interpretation, and clinical reporting.Degree in genetics, bioinformatics, biology, or medicine is required; graduate degree is preferred.Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.Proven ability to effectively manage complex projects across an organization.Job Type: Full-time
