Phosphorus is seeking a Biology Research Intern to join the R&D team.

Role: *
Assess R&D feasibility of a new diagnostic product Requirements
: *You MUST have experience accessing and utilizing web based applications for sequence alignment, comparative sequence analysis, phylogeny, protein domain and structure (CLUSTAL, BLAST, UCSC Browser, BLAT, SWISSPROT, etc). List your experience in this field in the first line of your resume and cover letter. *You must be currently living in NYC area and be able to come in person for an interview In Addition: *
Pursuing Graduate degree or Undergraduate degree in molecular biology *Strong background in molecular biology, protein structure, sequence phylogeny *Knowledge of lab processes is a plus (PCR, NGS library preparation, sanger sequencing) *Ability to read, interpret, and concisely summarize scientific literature *Excellent communication and writing skills *You can work remotely, but must be willing to meet in our NYC office once a week for regular updates
