Job Description:
The Department of Otorhinolaryngology: Head and Neck Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Otorhinolaryngology: Head and Neck Surgery with a focus on Neurotology and Bioinformatics. Responsibilities include clinical care to support the development of the neurotology/skull base clinical research program at Pennsylvania Hospital and the VAMC. Basic science research interests should focus on translational central auditory physiology. Clinical research interests should focus on the utilization of Bioinformatics to develop a cross-departmental research program. The incumbent will also provide mentorship in this discipline to medical students, residents, and fellows. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, clinical care, and research. American Board of Otolaryngology certification or eligibility is required as is a CEQ in Neurotology.
