The role of the Data Administrator is to support all aspects of program-related data, from design and documentation to collection, processing, storage, and retrieval, while maintaining compliance with FDA and other regulations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintain safe and secure storage of all electronic data

Generate and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Evaluate the effectiveness of such and implement change, where necessary

Oversee the compilation of Quality Incidents assigned to the Bioinformatics/Data Management Team

Generate Change Requests for Documentation and Computerized Systems

Assist in customization of required data management systems as per internal data capture and reporting requirements

Assist with validation and testing of database reports and customized database applications

Qualifications:
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in a mathematic or scientific discipline

Required Experience:
One year working experience working in a Data Management role

Preferred Experience:
Experience of: IT within a highly regulated environment, Report Design, Database Administration

Required Knowledge:
Advanced MS Excel
SQL query design and optimization

Preferred Knowledge

Scripting skills (Perl, Bash)
