We are looking for a creative and collaborative computational biologist to join our research team focused on studying genome biology, gene regulation, epigentics and cancer biology. The candidate should be proficient in computer programming and analysis of genomic/next generation sequencing data sets, and have experience working with biological systems. The candidate will perform analysis on high throughput next generation sequencing data sets and collaborate with the lab head and other computational biologist to identify and develop new concepts and programs for data collection and analysis. In additional the candidate will develop new methods and techniques for obtaining solutions and oversee development of software and ongoing research projects. Minimum Qualifications: Should have demonstrated computer skills in a UNIX environment and significant experience with computational tools such as R/Bioconductor and programming experience using Python, Perl, Java, or C/C++. Should have broad knowledge of statistical analyses.
